Abstract

The present study shows the thoracic injury criteria (CSI) that should be appears when passenger is seated in a citybus through the finite elements seats models analysis. The outcome show the chest injury (CSI) reached in a Hybrid III 50 percentile when a frontal impact with a speed of 35 km/hr.
